In-Home & Community-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapy Serving Bozeman and Gallatin County
At PEAK Therapy, we believe children thrive when therapy is meaningful, personalized, and connected to their everyday lives.
We provide pediatric occupational therapy in the environments where children live, learn, and play. By bringing therapy into the home and community, we can address real-life challenges as they happen, incorporate familiar routines and activities, and help families carry strategies over into daily life.
Our approach looks beyond individual skills to understand the whole child. We consider sensory processing, motor development, emotional and behavioral regulation, primitive reflexes, and the everyday demands that may be influencing a child’s participation and independence.
Therapy is individualized to each child and family, with an emphasis on building strong foundational skills that support movement, learning, regulation, confidence, and participation in daily activities.
At PEAK Therapy, our goal is to help children develop the skills they need to participate more fully in the things that matter most—while giving families practical strategies they can use long after the therapy session ends.
Every child is unique, and a diagnosis isn’t required for a child to benefit from occupational therapy. At PEAK Therapy, we focus on the skills and underlying factors that may be affecting your child’s ability to participate successfully in everyday life.
We work with children experiencing challenges related to:
Sensory Processing — sensory seeking or avoidance, sensitivity to sounds, textures, movement, clothing, or other everyday sensations
Emotional & Behavioral Regulation — big emotions, frequent meltdowns, difficulty calming, frustration, impulsivity, or challenging behaviors
Primitive Reflexes — retained reflex patterns that may be associated with difficulties in motor coordination, posture, attention, regulation, and functional performance
Fine Motor Skills — handwriting, cutting, drawing, manipulating small objects, and other hand skills
Gross Motor Skills & Coordination — balance, coordination, body awareness, motor planning, and overall movement skills
Attention & Executive Functioning — difficulty sustaining attention, following routines, transitioning between activities, organizing, or completing tasks
Self-Care & Daily Living Skills — dressing, grooming, toileting, mealtime participation, and increasing independence with everyday routines
Play & Social Participation — engaging in age-appropriate play, interacting with peers, and participating successfully at home and in the community
Diagnoses We May Support
Occupational therapy may also benefit children with diagnoses such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, genetic or neurological conditions, and other developmental concerns.
Your child does not need to “fit” a specific diagnosis to receive support. If something is making everyday activities harder for your child or your family, we can help determine whether occupational therapy may be a good fit.
Individualized pediatric occupational therapy designed to help children build the foundational skills they need to participate more confidently in everyday life.
