At PEAK Therapy, occupational therapy is designed around your child and your family. We provide individualized, one-on-one services in the environments where your child lives, learns, and plays—helping skills carry over into the moments that matter most.
Occupational Therapy Evaluations
Every child’s journey begins with understanding their unique strengths and areas of need.
Our comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations may assess:
Fine and gross motor skills
Sensory processing and modulation
Motor planning and coordination
Emotional and behavioral regulation
Primitive reflexes
Self-care and daily living skills
Attention and functional participation
Following the evaluation, families receive individualized recommendations and, when appropriate, a plan of care designed around their child’s specific needs and goals.
Individual Occupational Therapy
One-on-one therapy sessions are individualized to your child’s goals and designed to be engaging, purposeful, and functional.
Treatment may address:
Sensory processing and regulation
Emotional and behavioral regulation
Fine motor and visual-motor skills
Gross motor coordination and motor planning
Primitive reflexes
Attention and executive functioning
Self-care and independence
Play and participation in everyday routines
Because therapy takes place in your child’s natural environments, we can work on skills where they are actually needed and incorporate strategies that fit naturally into your family’s routines.
Primitive Reflex Assessment & Intervention
Primitive reflexes are automatic movement patterns that are present early in development and typically become integrated as the nervous system matures.
When clinically appropriate, primitive reflex assessment may be incorporated into your child’s occupational therapy evaluation. Intervention may include developmentally appropriate movement activities alongside other occupational therapy approaches to support functional goals such as coordination, postural control, motor planning, regulation, and participation.
Parent & Caregiver Education
You are an important part of your child’s progress.
Parent and caregiver education is incorporated throughout therapy so you understand what we’re working on, why we’re working on it, and how you can support your child between sessions.
Strategies and home activities are designed to be realistic and manageable—not another overwhelming addition to your family’s schedule.
In-Home & Community-Based Therapy
No waiting rooms. No rushing across town for another appointment.
PEAK Therapy comes to you. Sessions can take place in your child’s home or another appropriate community setting, depending on your child’s goals and your family’s needs.
Providing therapy in familiar, real-world environments allows us to address everyday challenges as they occur and helps make new skills easier to carry over into daily life.
